This a drum pad and drumsticks. A few years ago I was in Art school and I had told a close friend about my recent addiction to Self harm. He was very understanding but wasn’t sure what to say to help. So instead he gave me these. He told me that from what he understood about my self harm was that I had a lot of anger built up inside me and he wanted me to bang on this pad whenever I felt like taking that anger out on myself. I still use this today and it still really helps. This is one of my coping mechanisms I use instead of Self harm. Really needing it right now..
